It’s an exciting time here at Brockley Stores and we are looking for the right person to join us as Deli Supervisor within our fantastic team. We are looking for someone with similar experience as a supervisor in a fast-paced catering environment, have a commercial awareness and a passion for food. You would need to be able to inspire and have motivational leadership skills, as well as be able to work with the Deli Manager to create a fun and vibrant atmosphere.
Deli Supervisor:
The Deli Supervisor will be an integral part of everything we do and will come up with new fresh ideas. As such, you will need to bring your passion and motivation for food and customer service.
Its vital to us that our staff have outstanding customer service skills, a can-do attitude, strong initiative and a sense of pride in their work. Additionally, for this role, you will need to make sound business decisions and effectively manage any issues that arise on the days that you are solely responsible for the deli team. Therefore, you will need to assist the team to run a smooth, efficient shift, always striving to improve the se
rvice through this rapidly changing environment. Furthermore, an ability to prioritise is essential along with a track record of problem-solving skills. There is also a requirement to maintain and update records which are a legal requirement, as such good record keeping and computer skills are vital.
Key Responsibilities:
This role is varied and for the right person will allow for personal development and growth within the food and customer service industry, the key responsibilities of the role include:
- Providing outstanding customer service
- Staff Management & development
- Stock Control
- Visual merchandising
- Orders/Ordering Stock
- Cleaning/ Allergen records
Previous experience of the above would be advantageous and we would like applicants to identify their personal experience on their CV or in a covering letter.
The Details:
This role is offered as a full time contract, based on 40 hours per week which will include weekends, workings 8-hour shifts, salary will be £10ph.
